PES Pleated Cartridges

Construction & operating principle

A PES pleated cartridge combines polyethersulfone membrane with drainage layers, a support core and end fittings. Its membrane area distributes fluid loading across the element. It is relevant to fine filtration of aqueous fluids, but particle-control and sterilising grades carry different validation requirements. Proteins, additives and colloids influence both throughput and recovery, making actual-fluid evaluation more informative than clean-water figures alone.
