A PVDF pleated cartridge arranges polyvinylidene fluoride membrane into a compact filtration area. Fluid behaviour depends on its surface state; hydrophilic filtration grades, hydrophobic media and high-binding blotting membranes are not interchangeable material grades. Sensitive fluids require joint evaluation of particle retention, wetting and target recovery, with end fittings and seals included in the complete path.
| Selection factor | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Surface treatment | Hydrophilic and hydrophobic configurations need different wetting and gas-management procedures. |
| Adsorption | Charge, concentration and formulation affect recovery; the polymer name cannot replace measurement. |
| Assembly | Supports, interfaces and seals influence mechanical and chemical limits and must fit the housing. |

Find a product series around your process requirements.

Single- and dual-layer hydrophilic PVDF membrane series for culture media, biological reagents and blood-product processes.
Specifications & documents ↗Complete specified wetting and rinsing to avoid inactive areas that reduce measured flow.
Interpret pressure, temperature and recovery together, separating fouling from formulation interactions.
Use the relevant integrity or quality checks and retain lot and operating records.
Fluid interactions differ, so matching connections and pore rating do not establish equivalence.
Clarity does not reveal adsorption of dissolved targets; composition or recovery measurements are needed.
