FILTRATION / Filter Housings
Check every wetted component for the chemical process. Temperature and pressure limits apply to the complete assembly.
Images and specifications refer to the indicated models. Contact us to confirm configuration and suitability.
A PFA housing encloses replaceable cartridges in chemical-fluid service. The focus is the entire wetted assembly rather than the bowl alone. Base, seals, vent plugs and fittings may use different materials, each contributing limits. Elevated temperature also affects allowable pressure, so separately listed maximum temperature and pressure cannot automatically be combined into one operating condition.
| Selection factor | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Wetted inventory | Identify the bowl, base, seals and fittings instead of inferring all-fluoropolymer construction from PFA. |
| Pressure and temperature | Use the assembly operating envelope rather than combining independent maxima. |
| Changeout design | Bowl and element removal affect residual liquid, exposure and service clearance. |

PFA base and body with selectable seals and locking ring for cartridges in electronic-chemical service.
Specifications & documents ↗
Facility chemical-filter housing series with PFA body and cover listed in the materials table, for selection against the actual process fluid.
Specifications & documents ↗
PFA body and base with selectable locking-ring and seal materials for high-purity corrosive chemicals.
Specifications & documents ↗Use specified tightening methods, keeping seals clean and correctly positioned; excessive force can damage plastic components.
Fill and vent using a procedure suited to the chemical, assessing initial rinse background.
Isolate residual chemical exposure and inspect deformation, stress marks and seals.
Suitability depends on the complete assembly, concentration, temperature and exposure time.
Consult the pressure-temperature relationship; separate maximum values do not establish a combined duty.
