Construction & operating principle
A bag filter captures solids inside a replaceable bag, while a support basket carries differential pressure and a sealed mouth prevents bypass. It offers convenient removal of collected material for many process-liquid duties. Assessment should include bag medium, retention grade, basket and housing together. Housing pressure rating must not be confused with the bag’s allowable differential pressure.
