Construction & operating principle
A glass-fibre pleated cartridge combines fibrous depth media and supports within a larger folded area. It can support pretreatment of particle-loaded streams, while binders, supports and downstream protection influence cleanliness and suitability. Liquid clarification, colloidal loading and gas-particle control involve different conditions, so a performance conclusion from one duty should not be transferred automatically to another.
