Centrifuge Tubes
Confirm sample volume, rotor fit and permissible centrifugation conditions, as well as sealing and compatibility.
LABORATORY / Sample Preparation
Select vessel and closure materials and sterile status for the sample and test, with consistent handling and storage.
Images and specifications refer to the indicated models. Contact us to confirm configuration and suitability.
A sampling bottle carries a sample from collection to analysis while limiting avoidable change. The body and cap liner can adsorb targets, contribute background or alter gas exchange, so the container is part of the analytical method. Water, solvent-containing and microbiological samples have different needs. Cleanliness, preservative addition and sterile condition are separate attributes.
| Selection factor | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Material | Glass and polymers differ in interactions with organics, metals and solvents. |
| Closure | Volatile targets emphasise gas-tight sealing; wide mouths simplify handling but increase exposure. |
| Preparation | Cleaning, sterilisation and pre-added preservatives serve different analytical purposes. |
| Category | Sample Preparation |
|---|---|
| Material options | Polymer / glass |
| Filtration objective | Define what to remove and what to retain |
| Rating / Dimensions | Confirm combinations against controlled model specifications |
| Flow / Temperature / Pressure | Specify normal and limiting operating conditions |
| Connections / Seals | Confirm installation interfaces and wetted materials |
| Cleaning / Validation | Confirm the service cycle and acceptance criteria |

Record location, time, conditions and preservation, not only a sample name.
Maintain specified holding time and temperature, checking leakage or volume change.
Headspace requirements depend on the test; volatile analysis may differ from other methods.
Trace contamination, adsorption and microbiological condition cannot reliably be established by appearance.
