PES Membrane Rolls
Evaluate membrane material for discs and filter assemblies against the actual fluid and assembly process.
MEMBRANES / PP Media
Specify layer construction, thickness and conversion methods around particle loading and structural requirements.
Images and specifications refer to the indicated models. Contact us to confirm configuration and suitability.
PP filtration rollstock can use fibrous or membrane structures for cutting, laminating and pleating. Identical polymer names do not imply identical pore architecture. Fibrous media create a depth-capture network, whereas microporous films have different transport paths. Define the particle-control task first, then consider basis weight, thickness, support and the conversion process.
| Selection factor | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Structure | Distinguish fibrous media from microporous film and use the relevant retention test method. |
| Layer arrangement | Coarse and fine layers can distribute loading, while excessive layers raise initial resistance. |
| Conversion dimensions | Thickness, width and uniformity affect forming; thermal compression can change local porosity. |

Control compaction and edge sealing to avoid dense patches or interlayer bypass.
Compare pressure rise and particle passage in the intended fluid; clean-water flow alone does not predict life.
Compatibility still depends on composition, concentration, temperature and other components.
Capacity also depends on pore distribution, particle characteristics and compaction under service conditions.
