FILTRATION / Metal Filters
Select pleated metal media around the corrosive environment, differential pressure and cleaning method.
Images and specifications refer to the indicated models. Contact us to confirm configuration and suitability.
A metal pleated cartridge folds mesh or other suitable metallic media and joins it to end fittings, increasing area within a compact envelope. Separation depends on the pore and layer structure. Material strength does not imply unlimited pressure or temperature capability: corrosion, welds, supports and seals jointly determine assembly reliability. Reuse after cleaning requires evidence of structural and filtration recovery.
| Selection factor | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Media form | Mesh, fibre felt and composite layers differ in capture and cleaning behaviour. |
| Alloy | Corrosion conditions govern material choice; stainless steel is not universally chemical-resistant. |
| Connections | Welds, ends and seals must suit temperature, pressure and installation. |
| Category | Metal Filters |
|---|---|
| Material options | Stainless steel |
| Filtration objective | Define what to remove and what to retain |
| Rating / Dimensions | Confirm combinations against controlled model specifications |
| Flow / Temperature / Pressure | Specify normal and limiting operating conditions |
| Connections / Seals | Confirm installation interfaces and wetted materials |
| Cleaning / Validation | Confirm the service cycle and acceptance criteria |

Specifications & documents ↗Inspect welds, pleats and seals for damage or transport deformation.
Track differential pressure and downstream quality, avoiding conditions that deform the pleats.
Use a method compatible with both deposits and alloy, then reassess cleanliness, structure and retention.
Corrosion, fatigue and cleaning damage accumulate, requiring reuse and retirement criteria.
Their pores, area and capture mechanisms differ and need duty-specific comparison.
